Body Changes with the Medifast Diet

Interestingly, I have noticed a body temperature change while on the Medifast Diet. I believe I had entered into peri-menopause a couple years ago and being overweight as well has caused my body temperature to rise. Or so it felt like it. I was always too hot compared to other people, and even in the dead of winter I'd wear shorts indoors.

Since I've been on the Medifast Diet now for nearly a week, I've noticed that I don't feel hot or flushed like I did before. In fact, in the evenings I need to put on pants (instead of shorts) or get a blanket while watching TV because I feel a bit chilled. I'm not sick or anything like that. I just don't have those nagging hot flashes like I did before. It might just because I've reduced my carb intake considerably. Whatecer it is, it sure is a nice change.

I will be visiting with family on Sunday, as I always do, and it will be a willpower test for me. I'm packing a nice green salad with 1/2 cup of raw vegetables. I also bought Wishbone's new Salad Spritzer Vinegrette which is approved by Medifast to use. I'm looking forward to it.
