Clothing Shopping - Again!
While you are losing weight, you'll need quality clothing resources. If you are a plus sized gal (like I was), you might want to take a look at Kiyonna Plus Size Clothing. I've purchased clothing from them in the past and was very pleased with the quality and sizing availability. The key is to catch sales events like the one they have going on now through September 15th: 30-60% off select styles and colors in sizes 10-32.
There was a period of time when I went clothes shopping while on the Medifast program that I skipped a size. Now that's a pleasant surprise that anyone would be happy about! Talk about "oh happy day"! It's a great feeling when you find out that you've gone from a size 14 to a size 10 in less than 6 weeks. WooWhoo! I've seen this happen to some of my clients too so I know I'm not alone in this scenario.
When you lose weight rapidly, it can get expensive when you have to shop for new clothing every 4-6 weeks, especially if you work in an office and need business casual and/or business formal clothing that fits you well. So be sure to budget your money and take advantage of local sales in your area and online! In the past I've found the best clothing deals online especially around holidays, because think about it .... online clothing merchants are trying to compete with the malls and they have less overhead expenses than the brick and mortar stores too so they can offer their merchandise for a little less.
One word of warning though ... don't go crazy during your shopping sprees and over buy. Remember, you are on a rapid weight loss program. So if you are following the program correctly, you will not be wearing that size long. I have to admit though, that I've over bought and regretted it. So that's why I'm passing these cautions onto you.
The other disappointments (sort of) I've encountered was when I found a blouse or pants that I really loved and wasn't able to wear it long and when I went back for the same item in a smaller size, they didn't have it! Or I saved it thinking I'd only wear it for good or special occasions. Ha! I never got to wear it at all because it was too big by the time that special occasion came around. So when you buy new clothing - wear it! :)
