Eating Healthy Cookbooks 2007
I'm nearly half way to goal on my Medifast Diet plan so naturally I'm thinking ahead about my maintenance program.
Since I have vowed near to gain this weight back, I'll need tools to help me, so I've been doing some research and found two new cookbooks for 2007 that I think will transition well into the Medifast Lean and Green meals now and through maintenance with minimal tweaking.
Cooking Light Annual Recipes 2007
Cooking Light is famous for their magazine publications which I subscribe to now as well. The 2007 Cooking Light Annual Recipes cookbook is a collection of every recipe from 2006 - more than 1,000 recipes total. I ordered mine a couple days ago and can't wait to get it. I've found their recipes the easiest to convert to Medifast Lean and Green meals. I suspect I'll wear this cookbook out as I transition into my maintenance program. Hardcover, 496 pages
Eating Well Serves Two
If you find that many healthy recipes makes way too much food, then Eating Well Serves Two may be the answer to your prayers. Sometimes just reducing the ingredients in half doesn't work out or becomes too complicated. The editors of this cookbook realize that not every family is large. With just my husband and me it's sometimes difficult to find healthy recipes that produces two servings. And since I'm paying more attention to portion control now and into my Medifast maintenance program, I'm even more conscious about the quantity of food that a recipe yields. This cookbook contains 150 delicious recipes. Hardcover, 256 pages

This is a great site. I am on my fourth day on MediFast and have already used some of your recipes. I was worried that it could become blah. Keep the great tips and suggestions coming. Fabulous.
