Frequency of Weigh Ins

Recently I started doing something a little different in regard to my weigh in day. My official weekly weigh in day is Monday but I'm now monitoring my weight mid way through the week on Thursday mornings too.

Medifast recommends only weighing yourself once a week which I've done for 5 months. Now that I'm getting closer to goal, I want to keep a better watch on my progress.

The extra weigh in day allows me to adjust the rest of the week's meal plans, water intake, or exercise routines so that I can reach my own personal goal of 2.5+ pounds per week. Some weeks I achieve this goal and some I don't. I'll let you know how this works out over a period time of testing this new approach to monitoring my weight loss and trying to achieve my personal weekly weight loss goal.

So on Thursday mornings, you'll see a early weigh-in number on my Medifast Progress chart (right/top side of page). That number may decrease on the following Monday, but hopefully it will increase! :)
