Have a Fab-YOU-lous Thanksgiving!
I wanted to take a moment to wish each of you a fab-YOU-lous holiday this Thanksgiving Day. Keep in mind that this is a day for celebration and thankfulness. Let me share with you a motivational thought.
Try not to focus on the mass quantities of food that will surround you and which will be consumed by non-Medifast Dieters. Food is food and it will always be around us. We have to focus on how to handle it so that we eat to live and not live to eat. It is entirely possible that from now on we will think of Thanksgiving Day differently then ever before. And that's a good thing - certainly a healthy concept.
Here's something to think about in case you feel tempted to go off the Medifast plan:
When Thanksgiving day is over and you are tucked in bed for the night, know that the next morning you will be amoung the few American who did not gain weight during this one-day holiday, and certainly amoung the very few who lost weight. You wll be that much closer to your goal weight and headed toward: Fab-YOU-lous!
