How Private are Medifast Shipments?

Medifast Question ...This is probably a weird question, but when Medifast ships product, does the outer shipping box and/or return address say "Medifast" on it anywhere? I'm thinking of trying Medifast, but I need to have the product shipped to my office address since no one is home during the day to accept delivery, and items that come to my office go through several hands before finally being delivered to me. Receiving shipments from Medifast is something I'd consider quite personal in nature, and something I don't want a whole bunch of people to know. Thanks! ~ Cathy

My Answer ... Hi Cathy. Your question is reasonable and I completely understand your need for personal privacy especially in your office. I just checked all of the cartons I received from Medifast. (They are great to use for storage cartons by the way.) The outer shipping carton's address label states "Sunrise Distribution Center". However, on all of the larger cartons it states "Medifast" in large lettering on all four sides.

I have never had to sign for any of the packages that arrived at my home and if I'm not home my FedEx guy leaves them on my front deck. Would it be possible to have your FedEx service leave them in a specific location at your home when you are not there? If not, could have your shipments sent to a trusted neighbor's home, friend or relative?

The Medifast Diet is helping me every day to become healthy and I'm losing more weight than I ever thought possible. I'd hate to hear that you decided not to try Medifast because of the carton problem. So because of this I am writing MyMedifast Support to see if they would consider shipping their products in unmarked cartons for privacy reasons if a customer requests it. I think your question is excellent and your privacy concerns reasonable.

As soon as I hear back from them, I'll let you know via email and on this website page. In the meantime, Medifast is easy to reach by phone or email on the Medifast website.
