I Lost 17 Pounds During the Holidays
I consider the holidays to start on Thanksgiving Day and end the day after New Years Day. During this time I've read that the average person gains 10-15 pounds due to all the holiday goodies. Now compare that weight to 2-3 bags of sugar! Wow, that's a lot of weight, wouldn't you agree? I'd hate to have to carry 2-3 bags of sugar around for any length of time.
But I'm proud to say that with the help of Medifast, I lost 17 pounds during the holidays. That is the first time in my life I've ever semi-accomplished a New Year's resolution before the new year even began.
And I'm not alone. There are thousands other people on Medifast and hundreds of them have lost weight during the holidays.
Recently, I polled 27 Medifast Dieters and the total weight lost of all 27 people was 425.4 pounds between Thanksgiving Day and New Years Day. That's an average of 15.75 pounds per person!
Now keep in mind that this weight loss was during the hardest time of the year to lose weight. Imagine how well these folks would do during normal time periods!

WOW! That is INCREDIBLE! I too lost weight over the holidays (a FIRST for me!). It was so nice to go through New Years without "starting" a diet. I started in October and have had amazing results thus far. I know I say this all the time BUT your website has really been a great tool for me in my weight loss efforts. Thanks and Congratulations! Continued Success!

Congrats on your holiday weight loss too, Shawn! Looks like we have something else in common. Thanks to Medifast we both lost weight during the holidays instead of usually gaining! Thanks once again for all the kudos on my Medifast blog. It's fun to do and I enjoy helping other people lose weight and reach their goals.

Defragged, what an awesome idea! I saw your poll on the Medifast board and forgot to respond. I lost 11 pounds during the holidays and I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do in 2007. I have 110 pounds to go, but I know I'll make it with the help of Medifasters like you!! You are such an inspiration to everyone. :-)
