Defragged

I have never met anyone quite like Shannon Wollam before. Shannon has a bubbly personality. She is full of energy that naturally overflows and envelops everyone around her. We had several conversations about Take Shape For Life and being a Health Coach. I think Shannon and I will become good friends, and I can't wait to meet her again this July in Keystone, Colorado for the Take Shape For Life National Conference.

Thuxoan Tsang is a sweet gal and has a natural beauty about her that just makes you want to smile. I spoke to Thuxoan a couple of times and her weight loss story is inspiring. She's obviously committed to the Medifast program and it certainly shows. Everyone was commenting on how slim she looked and her adorable hairstyle. I also look forward to seeing Thuxoan again.

And as I mentioned, I also met several people from the Medifast forum. It was fun matching a face and personality with the screennames I've seen for many months. Among those I met were LoriM (Lori), CookingbyPat (Pat), Jaysmom (Natalie), Buckeygirl (Barb), Nancy and GypsyGirl.

Lori, her daughter Rochelle, my husband Mike, and I arranged to meet at the O'Hare airport so we could travel together. Lori is a fun, go-getter kind of gal from New York and Lori was so impressed with Take Shape For Life that she is now a Health Coach too.

The commercial that was taped will go into pre-production and be ready for airing mid April in select locations across the USA for testing. I'll let you know as soon as I know when and where it will aire.

I was not interviewed by Medifast for the commercial, but LoriM was and she told a wonderful story during her interview. I can't wait for you to hear her story; it is so inspiring.

The entire experience was wonderful but both Lori and I had trouble returning home from Chicago. Apparently there was quite a bit of bad weather east of Chicago and many flights were cancelled. Lori ended up traveling to Midway airport to get a flight out and my husband and I rented a car and drove more than 9 hours to get home.

All in all though despite the flight cancellations, the trip was well worth the experience and I'm thrilled to have been involved in Medifast's first commercial taping. If all goes well, Medifast plans to take this commercial taping process on the road and tape from various locations across the USA each month. I think that's a brilliant idea to help people understand about the Medifast program. Take Shape For Life and Medifast is all about making America healthy and that is also my mission as I continue to lose weight on this program.
