Defragged

Medifast has stated that the day of filming will be full of surprises, so I'm looking forward to what is in store for everyone. So far I've been told we will not have to pay for our room (including the extra night we are staying in Chicago) nor taxi service for the 45 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. Medifast has arranged to have us picked up at the airport by a limo and will be picking up the tab for the hotel arrangements. Those were pleasant surprises already.

When I return, I'll certainly be reporting about my experience and who knows, maybe I'll have some photos to share as I meet other Medifasters whom I've grown to know over the last 5-1/2 months.

On a less cheerful note, my apologies for not publishing a blog entry in the last few days. As many of you may know, my brother suddenly passed away on February 7, 2007. His Ohio funeral and burial took place this passed weekend and my focus has been on saying goodbye to my only brother and taking care of my mother who is having a difficult time dealing with the loss. Although his sudden death was shocking, Jim's health was not good due to his obesity and heart condition. He was only 52 and it's difficult to accept that he was cheated out of enjoying many more years of life and laughter. And laughter was certainly what he loved most about life.

On a positive note, even during emotionally stressful times though, the Medifast program continues to be easy to follow, and I lost another 2.5 pounds last week. Every day I am amazed at how simple this program is to follow and how well it works. I feel fortunate that I found Medifast and Take Shape For Life because my health was headed down the same path as my brother's and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to hault any further damage caused by my own obesity.

I am also building up my Take Shape For Life clientelle and helping others lose weight. It is such a rewarding feeling to know that with my help, other people who have struggled with their weight throughout their lives are having great success with Medifast too.
