Medifast Scrambled Eggs Product Review
At last I received my shipment of Medifast Scrambled Eggs and as I type this product review, I am munching away on this new delicious Medifast product. So how are they different than regular eggs?

Medifast Eggs vs. Real Eggs vs. Egg Beaters
| Medifast Eggs | Natural Eggs | Egg Beaters | |

Seven packets of Medifast Eggs cost $14.50 which is about the average price of the majority of the Medifast food products per 7 packet carton.
Medifast Dieters would naturally ask, "So why order Medifast Eggs when natural eggs or Egg Beaters have less carbs and are cheaper?"
The first reason would be that the Medifast Eggs contain other vitamins and minerals that natural eggs and Egg Beaters do not contain.
Secondly, if you eat real eggs or egg substitutes while on the Medifast Diet, you would have to substract the quantity you eat from your daily lean portion. This means that if I go to Denny's for breakfast with my husband on Sunday morning and have their Lite Veggie Omelet, I cannot have any lean meat that day. {bummer} But if I eat the Medifast Eggs, it is considered a Medifast meal and I do not have to substract it from my daily lean. {yea!}
The eggs tasted great to me. I added less than 1/8th cup of non-fat cheddar cheese, salt and pepper to it. It was tasty and a nice change from a sweet breakfast like the oatmeal, bars and shakes. The next time I think I'll dice a little bit of tomatoe, green peppers, onions and include a dash of low sodium garlic salt. Yummm ...

I love them too! Here's a tip I use to get the chessy taste without using up my protein.
I sprinkle white cheddar popcorn flavoring on them after cooking them.... yummy
