Most Stomach Satisfying Medifast Food

One of my many blog readers wrote me the other day and asked if I ever get hungry on the Medifast Diet and if so, what Medifast foods I eat to help suppress that hunger.

I would be remiss if I did not say that I do sometimes get hungry while on the Medifast Diet. But it is not the starving, belly button eating at my backbone hungry like I've experienced on other diets.

When I do feel a little hungry I reach for Medifast Oatmeal and prepare it with 5 ounces of water, 2 packets of Splenda, and a dash of cinnamon. The key to making it heavy is to put in less water than what the package calls for and to let it set for 3-4 minutes before eating so it thickens. This will create a heavy, paste like oatmeal and satisfies me every time.

Another Medifast food I reach for when feeling a little hungry are the Medifast Diabetic Shakes because they have more protein then Medifast 77 shakes. They are also less sweet so adding sugar free syrups to them to change or enhance the flavor doesn't cause the shake to be too sweet.

If you have a question about the Medifast Diet too, I'd be happy to answer it. Feel free to contact me anytime. I'll answer your questions personally via email and through this blog.

A special thanks to Renee from Michigan for submitting this great question!
