Motivation Tip: Fat Clothes Be Gone
I spent a full day going through all my clothes in all closets and dresser drawers. You won't believe how motivating this process became and you'll see my progress and results in the photos!
It's a simple process but could be time consuming depending on the amount of clothes you have stored away. It took me an entire Saturday, but it was well worth the time. The motivational part of it was unbelievable.
I am amazed at how much much weight and inches I've lost on the Medifast Diet. It really shows in how my old clothes fit. I'm wearing clothes that I wore when I was 20 pounds heavier so the weight and inches are coming off in areas that seem to count the most.
- Take all clothes out of all closets and dressers. Lay them somewhere where you can see the whole lot. I used my bedroom.
- Try on each garmet.
- Create three piles: too small, too big, fits right now
- Decide what you want to do with the "too big" pile or any of the clothing you wouldn't keep even if they did fit. You could give them away, sell them at a garage sale, or even sell them on eBay
If you are still in the Medifast weight loss phase like I am, you'll probably be doing this at least one more time if not more. But the first time will be the most time consuming.
This is my closet now. It contains only those clothes I can wear right now. Unbelievable!
The largest pile of clothes was the "too big" pile and the smallest was the "too small" pile. I guess once I get to my weight goal, I'll going on a major shopping trip so I have something to wear. Shopping isn't one of my favorite things to do, or so it wasn't, but I don't think I'll have a choice. Thanks again, Medifast!
