NuWave Oven: Perfect for Medifast
I never thought I'd ever say this, but here it goes. George is out and NuWave is in! What do I mean? Well, I've been a fan of the George Foreman grill for many years. In fact, I've been through 3 of his grills since they came out. I used them so much I wore them out! So I never expected anything to live up to its functionality or even surpass it's resourcefulness - until I tried the NuWave oven.
I've been using the NuWave oven for about 3 weeks now to make my Medifast Lean meals and I'm in love with the way it leaves in the meat's natural juices but removes the fat. No more dry chicken or fish for me. I also don't have to worry about defrosting the meat prior to cooking because it cooks meat right out of the freezer without any problems.
The Nuwave Oven combines the power of conduction, convection, and infrared cooking. It cooks foods thoroughly and resulting in moist, succulent meats but also crisply browned. It broils, roasts, grills, toasts, bakes, steams, barbeques, fries and even dehydrates without the use of fats or oils. Cleaning it is snap too.
The only negative characteristic so far that I've found is that the dripping pan became discolored after the first use. Now I line it with aluminum foil to avoid further discoloration. So far it is working out well and everything I have cooked in it turns out perfect.
I've not yet retired George, but probably will after I'm sure that the Nuwave Oven can endure daily use.
