Self Image: Think Thin
Is it difficult for you to see yourself as a thin person? If so, here is a little exercise you can do to strengthen or turn your self image around so that you are seeing yourself in a different manner even before your body gets there. And it will - trust me!
Change your self-talk now. Self-talk is what you are thinking and telling yourself in your head. You are worth it. Every time a negative self-talk statement enters your thoughts, say to yourself, "I am a thin and healthy person." Don't say "will be" because "will be" implies it may be awhile before it happens and if you continue to think "will be" that time may never arrive for you. It is important to say positive "in the moment" statements to yourself.
Every night before you drift off to sleep, imagine yourself as a thin and healthy person. Imagine the things you will do, how people react to you, and how you are in control of your eating behaviors, how great you will feel, and activities you will do that you wouldn't have attempted before.
Before you know it, when you look in the mirror you will see something very unexpected. You'll find that your body will need to catch up with your mind and that's a good thing! Because with Medifast it is only a matter of time before it happens. Trust me. I know this because it worked for me and it will for you too!
