Setting a Mini Goal

Tomorrow is my weigh in day on the Medifast Diet, and I'm a little apprehensive about it. If I have lost 3 or more pounds, then I will be in Onederland (in the 100s) which is my first mini goal.

I personally feel it is really important to set mini goals while on the Medifast Diet. It gives me something to work towards and to celebrate with some other type of reward other than food when I reach my goal. So check back tomorrow to see my first weigh in of my third week on Medifast. You can see it in the My Medifast Progress Chart on the right side of my homepage of this website.

It is sometimes hard to set mini goals, because what if I fail? Well, I've had some time to think about it, and if I don't accomplish that mini goal tomorrow, I'm determined to not get discouraged. I'll just move my mini goal out another week and work harder at staying under 1000 calories a day, under 100 carbs, increase my walking distance and increase my water intake one or two more glasses per day.

After this mini goal is accomplished, my next mini goal to celebrate is when I lose 50% of my total goal weight. When that happens, I'll be celebrating with a professional massage and as promised to many of my website visitors and MyMedifast forum buddies in the past, I'll be posting my Medifast Progress Photos so you can actually see the before and mid-way results of this amazing diet journey.
