What I Dislike about The Biggest Loser Show

I love to watch The Biggest Loser show when I have the time. It can be highly motiving especially when I've fallen behind on my diet or fitness plan. But there is one thing about it that rubs me the wrong way every season, and I cannot get passed it.

I'd like The Biggest Loser TV show to be more fair with its contestants. I'd prefer to see people get voted out based on them having lost the least amount of percent of body fat rather than being voted out by their peers based solely on strategy or personality conflicts.

Don't get me wrong. I love reality TV shows. I love the "voting out" concept for other reality shows like Survivor, Big Brother, etc., but not for The Biggest Loser. Contestants should be rewarded and judged by a panel of health officials, nutritionists, and professional trainers rather than picked off by other contestants with their eye on the prize.

If you think about it, how popular would the American Idol and Rock Star shows have been if they were judged solely by the competing contestants?

It's very disheartening for me to see someone who really deserves to be there get voted out because the others feel they are a threat. I feel their emotional pain and disappointment.

Do you agree or disagree?
